What we collect, and what we refuse to.

A site about money that asked for your banking would be an obvious joke. This one asks for nothing it does not need, and this page lists every tool that runs here.

What we never ask for

  • No bank connection, no brokerage login, no account aggregation.
  • No account numbers, no card details held by us, no statements, no screenshots.
  • No credential of any kind, for any reason, ever.

That is permanent, and it is the difference between a satire site about money and something that would need a regulator.

What a listing publishes

Everything on a listing was typed by the person in it: a name, which may be a pseudonym, what they do, what they say they own, and why they say they are rich. That is published, because publishing it is the entire product.

Location is country and region only. No city, no address, and never anything a device reported. The pin on the globe is a centroid from a public gazetteer, which is why the field is two dropdowns rather than a box you type into.

An email address is kept so a receipt and an edit link can be sent. It is never shown on the site, never sold, and never used for anything else.

Analytics, named

Two tools, both measuring whether the site works rather than who you are. Neither receives a name, an email, a location finer than the country, or any declared figure.

ToolWhat it is forWhat it stores
MixpanelWhich steps of the site people finish and where they give upA random id kept in your browser, the pages you opened, and how you arrived. Held on Mixpanel's European servers.
Google Analytics 4Which searches and links bring people hereGoogle's own cookies and identifiers, as their policy describes.
CloudflareServing the site and keeping it upStandard request logs, and the country your connection reports, which is what shows you a price in your own currency.

Analytics is on by default. Global Privacy Control is obeyed automatically, so a browser that sends it is never measured here and never has to ask.

Payment

Payments are handled by a payment provider acting as merchant of record. Card details are entered on their systems and are never seen by, or stored on, this site. We keep the fact of a payment, its amount and its currency, because that is what a receipt and a refund are made of.

Removing yourself

A listing can be edited or taken down through the edit link emailed with the receipt. Removal takes the entry off the list and out of the index. We do not hold anybody's page hostage, and a removal inside the refund window is refunded in full like any other.
