Methodology
We verify the prices, not the people.
Everything on this site was typed by the person it describes. Nobody is checked, nobody is vetted, and no listing here has been confirmed against anything. What we do check, constantly, is what the things people declare are actually worth.

What is running today
The list is being built in public. The pricing pipeline described below is specified and not yet switched on, and there are no members in it, so there are no figures on this site to distrust yet. This page describes the method the moment it starts running, and it is published first on purpose: a valuation method that arrives after the numbers is a method nobody can check.
What a listing is
A member picks a bracket, pays, and declares what they own. The declaration is a list of positions rather than one number, though a single number is allowed. We price the positions we can price, convert everything to dollars, subtract declared debt, and publish the total beside the person's name.
today = net worth - net worth at the previous close
this year = net worth - net worth at the first reading of the year
How each kind of thing is priced
| Position | What you enter | What we do with it |
|---|---|---|
| Shares | Ticker, exchange, number of shares | Live quote times share count |
| Crypto | Coin and amount | Live quote times amount |
| Cash | Currency and amount | Converted to dollars at the daily rate |
| Property | Declared value, currency, country | Currency conversion only. The value is yours |
| Private company | Revenue, ownership share, sector | Revenue times sector multiple times your share, discounted |
| Other | A label and a declared value | Currency conversion only |
| Debt | A label and an amount | Subtracted from the total |
Shares and crypto move on their own. Property, art, watches and anything else declared at a number sit at the number you gave them, because there is no honest live price for one house in one city, and inventing one would be the kind of precision this site exists to make fun of.
Private companies, which are the hard case
A private stake has no quote. Ours is valued on published revenue multiples, openly, because a valuation method nobody can inspect is just a number we made up. The table is versioned and every change to it is dated on this page.
| Sector | Revenue multiple | Note |
|---|---|---|
| SaaS and software | 6.0x | |
| Marketplace | 3.0x | |
| Fintech | 5.0x | |
| E-commerce and D2C | 1.5x | |
| Hardware | 2.0x | |
| Agency and services | 1.0x | |
| Other | 2.0x | The default when a sector is unclear |
The 0.70 is an illiquidity discount. You cannot sell a private stake on a Tuesday afternoon, and a paper valuation you cannot realise is not the same thing as money. It is also the easiest lever for somebody trying to inflate their way up the board, which is the second reason it is there.
Three labels, and none of them says verified
The word verified never appears next to a person on this site, because it would not be true. Every listing carries one of these instead, and they describe where a figure came from rather than whether it is real.
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| DECLARED | You typed it. We priced it. This is the default and most of the list is this. |
| DOCUMENTED | You supplied a public source link a reader can open and judge for themselves. |
| PUBLIC RECORD | We linked a filing or registry entry ourselves. Rare, and applied by us rather than requested. |
| UNSOURCED | A declared total above fifty million dollars with no documented position behind it. |
The ceiling on a straight face
Anyone can type a trillion, so two things happen. A declared total above fifty million dollars needs at least one documented position behind it, or the entry is stamped UNSOURCED and moves to its own board. It stays public and it stays funny. It simply does not sit in the main ranking, where it would push down people who showed their working.
Every change to a declared figure is kept and shown on the listing, so a total that grows three times in a month says so on the page. A visible history does more for honesty than any rule we could enforce. A single position is capped at one trillion dollars, and above that the form declines rather than errors.
Where the prices come from
Share prices are refreshed through the US market day, crypto around the clock, and currency rates once a day. Every figure on this site is rendered with the time it was priced, and a figure we could not refresh says how old it is rather than pretending to be current.
Sources and refresh intervals will be named here in full when the pipeline is switched on, with the same dated version stamp as the multiple table.
What we never ask for
- No bank connection, no brokerage login, no account aggregation.
- No account numbers, no statements, no screenshots of a balance.
- No credential of any kind, ever, for any reason.
That decision is permanent. It is the line between a satire site about money and a regulated financial service, and we are firmly on one side of it. None of this is financial advice, none of it is an offer, and no figure here should be relied on for anything at all.
